What is FAME physio?

FAME stands for:
FEMALE ATHLETE MENTORSHIP ENTERPRISES

A rehab and wellness experience to help you have your best season yet both in and out of sport.

My mission at FAME is to help women and girls of all ages realize they can reach celebrity status…

⭐️ And be the SUPERSTAR of your own life!!

Whatever it takes to reach your full potential:
💪🏻 rehabbing an injury
💃 optimizing your movement
👩‍🏫 education about your body
💁🏼‍♀️ building up your confidence

FAME came to be out of my experience as a female athlete. Knee pain meant I had to stop playing sports for a year, poor body image kept me playing small and having no clue how my body worked kept me from reaching my full potential.

Therefore, I wanted to create a space where I can be a role model for young girls to learn about their bodies, their unique needs as women, to have fun, build confidence and to help guide girls to reach their full potential.

It’s the honor of my life to build this business and serve so many girls and women 💞

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that the PWHL - The women’s professional hockey league took off this week.

I can’t lie, I was emotional watching the pre-game and puck drop 🥺

Having female athletes admired and respected the way male athletes are, was an unreal feeling.

As a young female athlete, I never dreamed of playing my sport as a career. I had to have dreams outside of my sport .. just because there was no long term opportunities for me.

But NOW, little girls growing up playing hockey get to dream BIG and dream of playing the sport they love for a LIVING. I repeat not just for Team Canada .. AS. THEIR. JOB!!!

I can’t understate how frigging cool that is!!!

But not just the athletes. The coaches, the refs, the trainers, physios, sport performance consultants, dieticians etc … who dreamed of working in professional sport. Now get that chance too.

And even more these women are getting PAID, so they have access to incredible resources for their training, nutrition and performance.

They’re gonna get really frigging good.

We expected female athletes to put on a product worthy of watching, but yet weren’t paying them for it to be their full time job like male athletes are.

Now think of all the resources, the research, the momentum that’s going to go into women’s sports at all ages and levels to make this the best damn product they can!

This is huge for ALL female sports.

This is huge for every little girl playing hockey right now.

This is huge for us all.

UGH!! I just can’t love this all more.

Anyways, you’ll find me 3-4 nights a week watching Womens hockey for the next 5 months!!! ✌🏻

P.S. it’s really good hockey too
