Happy Mardi Gras, also known as "Fat Tuesday"! Thanks to the phenomenal efforts of our chef and kitchen staff, we had the pleasure of serving a beautifully crafted King Cake, complete with three hidden figurines for added excitement. During lunch, our three fortunate winners discovered the babies in their slices and were rewarded with delightful small gifts. While the King Cake holds a deeper cultural significance, it was truly heartwarming to see our residents come together and enjoy this festive tradition as a community. This delicious experience brought joy and connection to everyone involved!

The Rascals Jazz Band delivered an outstanding performance that left our residents buzzing with energy and excitement! Everyone eagerly got up to dance, showcasing their joy and enthusiasm. Not only did the band provide incredible music for dancing, but they also introduced our residents to the art of square dancing, two-stepping, and line dancing. To top it off, we were thrilled to have the chance to play some instruments alongside the band, who graciously welcomed our participation. It was an unforgettable experience that truly brought our community together! Thank you, Rascal Jazz Band!

Here at Azalea Estates, we took Wednesday to hold a conjoined birthday party for all of our February birthdays. The residents loved having vanilla cake and cookies and cream cupcakes. This is also a great way for our residents to have a social hour that has a little bit of sweetness added to it. Lots of smiles and full tummies!

Greetings from our Azalea Estates residents!

We had an awesome time taste testing our olives and olive oil with bread for our Hawthorn Adventures! The residents had a kabob with two different types of olives, pictured Kalamata & green olives with a little mozzarella ball in between. It must have been yummy, because those smiles are priceless! Next stop, Croatia. Here we come! Look for what yummy treat we have coming ahead in the next couple of weeks.
