This summer, we’re hosting our FIRST Urban Agriculture Workshop Series, and I am inviting all who are willing to be a part of something amazing this year to partner with us in empowering our communities through food, sustainability, education, and community engagement.
Taking place in Fayetteville, NC, we are inviting members within our communities to our Urban Agriculture Workshops that aim to:
🌱 Teach youth and adults how to grow food in small spaces using container gardening and hydroponics.
🌱 Address food insecurity through hands-on education.
🌱 Connect families to local food systems, wellness resources, and sustainable practices.
🌱 Educate and demonstrate simple cooking techniques to create nutrient dense meals.
🌱 And much more community engagement activities through this 8 week curriculum!
Our workshops will be free and open to the public, targeting underserved neighborhoods where food access and health disparities are most urgent. It will take the community to help the community, so I have created flexible and impactful partnership opportunities to ensure this collaboration benefits everyone involved.
