Things I Wish Iâd Known Sooner (on my spiritual journey) đż
No one can heal us but ourselves.
If we want to heal deeply, we need to start with our nervous system.
Healing is embodimentâuncomfortable, subtle, and gradual. Mental knowing isnât enough, and forcing it fails.
The simplest teachings can be the hardest for us to live.
See through the innocent eyes and speak through the simple, unfiltered language of a child.
Our ego is sly, but when healed, itâs a rockstar at spotting disharmony and misalignment. Spirituality isnât about ETs or Atlantisâitâs about healing our shadows to be our best selves.
Our Spirit Guides arenât always gentle; they practice tough love to push us toward growth.
Challenges blend beauty and brutalityâthey donât mean bad karma but open doors to growth. Embrace the paradox.
Being deeply spiritual is being human in a flawed world. Go out in it and let it show you where your wounds lie.
Our kids, partners, and parents are our greatest teachers.
The ways people hurt us have less to do with us and more to do with their own wounds. Don't take it personally.
Forgiveness frees us, not them.
The pinnacle includes love, but it exists only within authenticity.
Truth isnât always soft, and comfort isnât always goodâsome of the best lessons feel brutal but lead us to our greatest potential.
Letâs ditch âshouldâ and âneed toââthey slow us down. We get to choose our path.
Saying ânoâ and letting go are two of the hardest things to do; but they are the most worthwhile.
We spend 90% of our time making things harder than they need to be and 10% avoiding what must be done. Letâs spend the effort of the 90% on the 10%.
Time may heal all wounds, but time isnât guaranteed. Fix what needs fixingânow.
Our path is ours aloneâletâs own it.
