The University of Maryland School of Medicine is taking steps to address physician shortages over the coming decades. According to a recent report from Medical Economics, the school will gradually increase class sizes from 175 to 200 students by 2031. "The move comes as national workforce projections continue to point to significant gaps ahead," writes Medical Economics Assistant Editor Austin Littrell.
