- Admire original works of art from Plano Art Association members in Global Reflections, an art exhibit on display all day in the Courtyard Theater lobby
- Step back in time at the Interurban Railway Museum along 15 th St to see
how Plano got started!
- Right outside the museum, watch artist Santos Lozano draw a chalk art masterpiece, and take some pictures in the Pumpkin Patch by Georgia
- Farmers Market
- Stop at 5pm! Bridges, a one-of-a-kind cultural fusion performance, starts at 7pm in the Courtyard Theater. Presented by local performing arts group Garage Arts Project, Bridges brings stories,

What is the real meaning of FITNESS?

Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy and involves attributes that include, but are not limited to mental acuity, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility.

Experts define physical fitness as “one's ability to execute daily activities with optimal performance, endurance, and strength with the management of disease, fatigue, and stress and reduced sedentary behavior.”

A Fit Person is someone with a good amount of muscle mass, good cardiovascular endurance, and low body fat percentage. Fitness isn't about being skinny or looking a certain way.

Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations, and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest along with a formal recovery plan.

Consistency is the secret ingredient for long-term fitness success. Establish a consistent workout routine with moderate intensity. Exercising should be a non-negotiable part of your schedule. Small, consistent efforts over time yield better results than sporadic, intense workouts.

With this perspective in mind, the Bible affirms that spiritual health and fitness is even better than physical fitness: Being healthy and fit is beneficial for this life. Following God can feel like a fight, and the right activities can help us stay focused.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 - Training and completing a race builds endurance, and can teach us what it's like to persevere in love and to stay in step with the Spirit throughout life.

Psalm 73:26—“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Ephesians 3:20 - Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Each day we should remind ourselves of some key areas that we can focus on in order to stay spiritually fit:
Drink living water. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. ...
Watch what you eat. ...
Exercise your Spirit. ...
Rest in the Lord. ...
Training Partner.
