Hi, I’m Jas! I’m a certified yoga instructor in Houston, Texas. I’ve been doing yoga for about 4 years. Before I started going to the gym, I wanted a way to work out & stay in shape, so I tried yoga. I absolutely loved it! And....so my yoga journey began.

At first, I would watch videos on YouTube...which I found to be somewhat helpful, until I realized, they can’t see me! 🥴🥴So I had no way of knowing if my body was correctly aligned to avoid injury, or if I was even doing the poses correctly. I decided I’d try a yoga studio. My first yoga class was.......overwhelming. So many people, so many poses, & very fast paced. I didn’t know what I had gotten myself into! The instructors never took time to actually talk through poses, or reposition me. If I was wrong, I was wrong. 🥴
Needless to say, I went home & regrouped. I didn’t want to give up, so I started to study....

Fast forward to now, Quarantine birthed “Vibes with Jas”. I wanted to bring relaxation/ mediation & yoga during a crazy time, to those in my community. People that had never done yoga before were meeting me in the park 2-3 days a week! The weather was nice, the music was playing, we were moving our bodies, & relaxing our minds, it was truly a vibe✨🤸🏾♀️🧘🏾♀️.
