Happy Summer Get Real Tribe!
I hope you are having a dreamful and majestic week.
Recently I was on Instagram and came across a post from my friend (https://www.instagram.com/p/DMJidZrIcRJ/) and colleague Dr. Josh Caya describing the power oof mechanotransduction.🤳
In simple terms, with real chiropractic we refer to the healing abilities of the body as innate intelligence or power.
There are a few terms that although sound complicated or buzzy, help to qualify this amazing phenomena.
For example, mechanotransduction describes how energy through movement (mechano) will transfer into a different form (transduction). 📖
This is vital for two main reasons:
1) The value of proper posture, biomechanics, and nerve transmission
- your proper movement and nerve flow is essential for the body to function and heal as designed. 🤾♀️
2) The faith and marvel of the physiologic process
- understanding and harnessing the body's innate given ability to function, communicate, and self-regulate.
This is why with real chiropractic we discuss that healing can only come from within through understanding and honoring these amazing hapenings.
Your body is designed with a whole system beyond the control or contents of any lotion or potion, and motion is a key element for that to ignite. 🔥
So getting adjusted is way more than just feeling good, but allowing those mechanics to transfer that energy into biochemical changes in profound ways.
Where your amazing cells can change and heal and create a newer evolved being that is able to express the most of life. 💪
