For years past, we have always done Salvation Army Christmas Angel program.
Unfortunately, sometimes well-intentioned people take a tag from various Christmas trees, but then forget, fail, or are unable to go buy the presents.
So this year, we did the Salvation Army Forgotten Angel program, which is designed to make sure every forgotten tag is fulfilled.
I am amazed, but not surprised by the extreme generosity of our patients every year (the toys in the picture are just some of what our patients donated). Now hundreds of kids will have something to open on Christmas morning!
This is an excellent reminder that despite the bad stuff we often hear about in the news, HUMAN KINDNESS is very much alive and well. Merry Christmas!
