Benefits of a home visit!

Tonight was a great night! I conducted a follow-up primary care visit with a couple in the comfort of their home. There was no wait for them to see me, no rush for me to get to the next patient. We reviewed lab work, discussed goals and created a health plan.

My favorite thing so far about this practice has been making house calls! Being able to care for my patients in their time of need, in their own home has been amazing. Being able to spend time with them in a relaxed atmosphere is beneficial to the patient-provider relationship
