Recently, CEO Shawn Parekh of Roxborough Memorial Hospital was recognized by Becker's Clinical Leadership as one of the 8 healthcare systems achieving significant results in transitioning from healthcare to health. Shawn was acknowledged for key strategies implemented with his team, including AI-powered systems that automate care discharge via text messaging.

He also highlighted their commitment to advancing the radiology department with CT calcium scoring and the addition of 15 inpatient behavioral health beds at the Suburban Behavioral Health Campus of Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Montgomery County. Additonally, specialized programs for heart disease, hypertension, and other chronic disease management have been implemented.

The results achieved by Shawn and his team have led to marked improvements in patient outcomes, including reduced hospital readmission rates and increased patient satisfaction scores.
