Rookie of the Year 👏✨

Help us celebrate our 2025 PT Rookie of the Year, Marissa Primo from !

Since stepping into her role as a Physical Therapist in August (after 5 years as a PSL!), Marissa has continued to raise the bar. Her customer service has always been top notch — and that same work ethic, heart, and dedication now shine through in her care as a PT.
She’s also been an incredible Brand Ambassador, representing her clinic and our profession at community events and showing what Strive is all about: people helping people move and feel their best.

We’re so proud of the growth you’ve shown this year, Marissa — and we know this is just the beginning 💛

Stay tuned as we continue announcing our 2025 award winners throughout the month 🎉

What if addressing pain early meant fewer doctor visits?
Research shows people who start with physical therapy have significantly fewer follow-up medical visits — and often avoid more invasive treatments altogether.
Dr. Devin Trachman PT, DPT, MTC, OCS explains why early intervention matters and how PT focuses on the root cause — not just the symptoms.
If you’re dealing with pain, don’t wait for it to snowball. Get it checked out.

Nicole Schulke, PT, DPT, LSVT BIG, Clinical Director of , recently received this heartfelt note from one of the incredible performers at The Hook in Atlantic City.

From “evil thumbs” and scraping to steady listening and unwavering support — this is what it looks like to keep elite performers healthy through long seasons and demanding shows. The acrobatics may defy physics, but staying stage-ready takes strength, trust, and a PT who truly cares.

Nicole, thank you for helping our local artists move boldly, heal fully, and shine under those bright lights ✨

Overhead activities shouldn’t be a pain in the shoulder. 🙌

In this video, our team at is walking through a few of our go-to exercises to help reduce shoulder pain with overhead movements. The focus? 🔎 Shoulder stability + rotator cuff strengthening.

When those smaller stabilizing muscles are strong and doing their job, your shoulder can move the way it’s designed to — without compensation, pinching, or irritation.

If reaching into cabinets, lifting at the gym, or throwing a ball has been bothering you, don’t push through it. Let’s build strength where it matters most so you can get back to moving confidently. 💪

Have questions about your shoulder? Drop them below or connect with your local Strive team!

From crutches to running. 💪 After tearing his meniscus, Christian couldn’t straighten his knee — and as a firefighter, that meant life and work were suddenly on pause. Six weeks non-weight bearing. No normal routine. No doing what he loves.
But step by step (literally), he rebuilt his strength. With the right plan, hands-on support, and a team that listened, he went from non-weight bearing…to running again. Physical therapy isn’t just about recovering from surgery. It’s about getting you back to your life!

Hate running? We've got good news. 👇Try the 12-3-30 method!
12% incline. 3 mph. 30 minutes. That’s it.
This workout supports heart health while being easier on your joints — and you can scale it to your fitness level. Self-love isn’t forcing workouts you dread. It’s finding what works and doing it consistently. ❤️

Food is powerful medicine 🍎✨

We loved welcoming Stacey Venneman, Functional Nutritionist, to chat with our patients and community about how to fuel your body and reduce inflammation through simple, intentional food choices.
From current patients to familiar faces we haven’t seen in a while (and some new friends, too!) — it was such a great night of learning, connection, and real-life strategies you can actually use.

At Strive, we believe healing goes beyond the clinic walls. When we move well and fuel well, we thrive. 💚

Is physical therapy actually worth it? Short answer: YES. Long answer ⬇️

The start of a new year brings fresh goals…and a brand-new deductible. If you’ve been putting off aches, pain, or injuries, January is actually one of the smartest times to start physical therapy.

Here’s why 👇
• Most insurance plans reset in January, so you can use your benefits early and intentionally
• PT offers clear pricing, fewer surprises, and real conversations about your costs
• Addressing pain sooner often means fewer visits, faster progress, and avoiding bigger (and more expensive) interventions down the road
• And instead of just chasing symptoms, PT helps uncover the root cause—so issues don’t keep coming back

Waiting rarely saves money. Taking action usually does. Start your year strong. Start with PT.
