We started sessions on Lucky back in April when he was diagnosed with laminitis, with 100% support from his vet. We worked on him 2x a day for the first few weeks and then slowly decreased our sessions and now work with him for full body wellness every other week! Lucky is back to riding and feeling good (6 weeks after diagnosis he was back to light riding) hopefully this big boy will get to teach many more people what a beautiful side pass feels like!

The machine has been busy today!
Lucky for his maintenance for the week completed, he was so good about his poll today… Hubby threw his back out so what does a practitioner do? Well of course get out the mag mat for a session, Macy the cat loves this…. And then a little TLC for me….

Working on Lucky today
Working his way back from Laminitis, we treated several time a week, I am now doing 2 30 minute sessions per week for continued maintenance, I like the shorter sessions for him so I can work on his legs both times and I feel he does better and doesn’t get as antsy! We use the Zoom paddle or small butterfly loops for his legs and the XL wings for shoulder/ back and hind end…. And who doesn’t love a great barn cat, Boots is great company.

So happy with how well this horse has progressed. He was diagnosed with laminitis a few days before we met him. He was at the new barn we were moving to, it felt right to volunteer our services and our machine,only after the owner had discussed it with her Veterinarian.
He was back in shoes 6 weeks later with light riding.
We now have him on 2 30 minute sessions a week for maintenance and he is doing so well.
