A Triune Approach to Healing

Understanding and Insight Into Your Problems and Illnesses You see them every day. Acknowledge it.

Envy, Jealousy, Rage, Resentment, Hatred & Self-Hatred, Shame, Guilt, Fear, Anxiety, Rejection, Abandonment, Despair, Control... You know what they are. They are in your life and in those around you. Recognizing the negative/toxic thought and recognizing the SOURCE of that thought is the first step to change. Don't lie to yourself. Take responsibility for harboring it and for allowing it to mani

fest itself through you into the earth. Then actively RENEW your mind. Replace that automatic toxic thought with one that YOU can believe. This is not about fraud or denial or convincing yourself that things are not real. This is about understanding how and why you get sick and how to get well. Christians can remove the source of these thoughts through repentance, prayer and deliverance. Others can also change through renewing the mind. The same will work for you but it may take you longer. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater! Glean what you can and be converted!

FOUNTAINS OF THE DEEP DISCOVERED...

The Bible mentions "the fountains of the deep" several times. During the Flood, we are told, God opened the fountains of the deep, suggesting seismic activity. When God ended the flooding, we are told that God closed the fountains of the deep, suggesting that they continue to exist, albeit with less water than at creation. In 1997, scientists said that they may have found an astonishing reservoir of water deep in the earth. The water they believe they found does not exist in huge underground oceans. The water is tied up in minerals, held there by the tremendous pressures and temperatures deep in the earth. Researchers have shown, for example, that a mineral called wadsleyite – which exists only at temperatures above 1,800 degrees (F) and is found as deep as 400 miles below the earth’s surface – can still hold water. Scientists have figured that if 60 percent of this layer is wadsleyite, as seismic data indicate, it could contain enough water to fill 10 oceans. Researchers have also analyzed the amount of this water that is brought to the surface during volcanic eruptions and concluded from their findings that there could be enough water deep in the earth to fill 30 oceans!

When you don’t sleep well, your brain literally begins eating itself:

Researchers found that prolonged sleep loss causes the brain's immune cells to go into overdrive, potentially leading to long-term damage.

The brain's glial cells, responsible for housekeeping functions, become hyperactive in sleep-deprived mice. Astrocytes, which normally eliminate unnecessary synapses, begin breaking down more brain connections and debris in sleep-deprived animals.

While this may initially serve as a protective mechanism, clearing potentially harmful debris and rebuilding worn circuitry, it could be detrimental in the long run. Microglial cells, which remove damaged cells and debris, also show increased activity after chronic sleep deprivation.

This is particularly concerning, as excessive microglial activity has been linked to various brain disorders, including Alzheimer's disease and other forms of neurodegeneration. The research suggests that sleep loss triggers astrocytes to start breaking down more of the brain's connections and their debris, with portions of synapses literally being eaten by astrocytes due to sleep loss.

Most of this remodeling appears to target larger, more mature synapses that are used more intensively. It’s still unclear whether getting more sleep could reverse the effects of sleep deprivation.

The findings may explain why lack of sleep increases vulnerability to dementia and other neurological disorders. Notably, Alzheimer's deaths have increased by 50% since 1999, highlighting the potential link between sleep deprivation and neurodegenerative diseases. Sleep plays a crucial role in maintaining brain health and function, serving as a vital period for neural restoration and cognitive processing.

During sleep, the brain undergoes essential maintenance tasks, clearing away toxic byproducts accumulated during wakefulness and consolidating memories. Research has shown that sleep deprivation can lead to impaired cognitive function, decreased attention span, and reduced problem-solving abilities.

Chronic sleep loss may contribute to the development of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. Sleep allows for the strengthening of neural connections important for learning and memory formation, while pruning unnecessary synapses to optimize brain function. The glymphatic system, which removes waste products from the brain, is particularly active during sleep, highlighting its importance in maintaining neural health. Adequate sleep also supports emotional regulation, with sleep-deprived individuals often experiencing mood swings, irritability, and increased stress levels.

The brain's plasticity, or its ability to adapt and change, is enhanced during sleep, facilitating learning and skill acquisition. Different sleep stages serve unique purposes, with the REM sleep being particularly important for creativity and emotional processing, while slow-wave sleep contributes to physical restoration and memory consolidation.

Sleep also plays a role in hormone regulation, including those that affect appetite, stress response, and growth. Insufficient sleep has been linked to increased risk of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, emphasizing its importance beyond just cognitive function.

Furthermore, sleep supports the immune system, with sleep-deprived individuals being more susceptible to infections and illnesses. The brain's energy consumption is carefully regulated during sleep, allowing for the replenishment of energy stores depleted during wakefulness. This process is crucial for maintaining optimal cognitive performance and overall brain health. In essence, sleep is not merely a period of inactivity but a dynamic state that is fundamental to our brain's ability to function effectively, adapt to new experiences, and maintain long-term health

Researchers found that Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 destroyed 20% of cancer cells in lab tests:

Scientists at the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are exploring whether music could play a role in cancer treatment.

Led by Dr. Márcia Alves Marques Capella, the team exposed both healthy and cancerous cell cultures to different music genres. Remarkably, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 destroyed about 20% of cancer cells in just a few days, while leaving healthy cells unaffected. A similar effect was observed with György Ligeti’s Atmosphères, though Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos showed no measurable impact.

The exact mechanism behind these effects remains unknown, but researchers speculate that rhythm, frequency, or intensity could be key factors. Further experiments, including Brazilian Samba and Funk, are planned to uncover more about this intriguing phenomenon. While the research is in its early stages, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the potential of music as a non-invasive cancer therapy.

"Piglet?" said Pooh.
"Yes?" said Piglet.
"I'm scared," said Pooh.
For a moment, there was silence.
"Would you like to talk about it?" asked Piglet, when Pooh didn't appear to be saying anything further.
"I'm just so scared," blurted out Pooh.
"So anxious. Because I don't feel like things are getting any better. If anything, I feel like they might be getting worse. People are angry, because they're so scared, and they're turning on one another, and there seems to be no clear plan out of here, and I worry about my friends and the people I love, and I wish SO much that I could give them all a hug, and oh, Piglet! I am so scared, and I cannot tell you how much I wish it wasn't so."
Piglet was thoughtful, as he looked out at the blue of the skies, peeping between the branches of the trees in the Hundred Acre Wood, and listened to his friend.
"I'm here," he said, simply. "I hear you, Pooh. And I'm here."
For a moment, Pooh was perplexed.
"But... aren't you going to tell me not to be so silly? That I should stop getting myself into a state and pull myself together? That it's hard for everyone right now?"
"No," said Piglet, quite decisively. "No, I am very much not going to do any of those things."
“But - " said Pooh.
"I can't change the world right now," continued Piglet. "And I am not going to patronise you with platitudes about how everything will be okay, because I don't know that.
"What I can do, though, Pooh, is that I can make sure that you know that I am here. And that I will always be here, to listen; and to support you; and for you to know that you are heard.
"I can't make those Anxious Feelings go away, not really.
"But I can promise you that, all the time I have breath left in my body...you won't ever need to feel those Anxious Feelings alone."
And it was a strange thing, because even as Piglet said that, Pooh could feel some of those Anxious Feelings start to loosen their grip on him and could feel one or two of them start to slither away into the forest, cowed by his friend, who sat there stolidly next to him.
Pooh thought he had never been more grateful to have Piglet in his life.
