Hello from my wildflower patch... it was a parking lot 3 years ago!!! Now it alerts one to the Parker ST entrance of my shoppe. Please do share NatureSpirit.com to those who may appreciate the authenticity of my products and the essential oils I import. At this point in my life my expansion is with keeping the contacts for the precious oils I use to create with from around the globe. And I am also condensing; offering some items that I will not have again. Check for the BOGO, these are ones I either have lots of to share or am phasing out.

It is time for me to keep doing what I do, but to begin to realize that I have been doing this for nearly 40 years. These years have been so full with love, life, transitions, joys & sorrows. In all that has happened & all that I do Nature's Spirit is my guiding force, keeping me vital. I am not retiring, just re evaluating where what precious time I have left needs to go to. My healing journey continues. I need to keep a pure atmospheric space to keep sharing the bits of wisdom that come through to share with others.

It is best to have a clear olfactory palette when coming to experience scents. I ask those who visit and especially those who attend classes to refrain from applying anything with a fragrance such as hair products, lotions and especially synthetic perfumes & fragrances. My shoppe & my home are totally free of any synthetic fragrances. It’s how I live. Hence I have a product line that is extensive, inclusive with Spiritual resonance & practical everyday solutions for personal care & simple first aid. And pure parfums for the Soul.
I have my shoppe open here Thursday -Saturday & also by appointment. It is very important to come fragrance free if you come to my shoppe here in Onancock. Any synthetic fragrance will trigger asthmatic responses.

Read this before applying essential oils in the sun!

Some essential oils—especially certain citruses—can cause serious skin reactions when applied before heading into the sun (or a UV tanning bed). We’re talking burns, blisters, and lasting discoloration. Not exactly the radiant glow we’re going for.

Phototoxic citrus oils include:

Lemon (Citrus limon)
Cold-pressed lime (Citrus aurantifolia)
Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi)
And especially bergamot (Citrus bergamia)

But not EVERY citrus oil is phototoxic. Sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) and steam-distilled lime (Citrus aurantifolia) are sunshine-safe. Yes, lime is on both lists—because how it’s extracted makes all the difference.

Cold-pressed lime = phototoxic
Steam-distilled lime = not

And it gets a little nuanced. Because phototoxic oils CAN still be used safely on skin—if they’re properly diluted. Here are some safe drop counts for every 1 fl oz (30 ml) of carrier oil:

Bergamot: max 2 drops per ounce
Lemon: up to 12
Grapefruit: 24
Cold-pressed lime: just 4

If you put on a body oil with more than 12 drops of lemon and step out to grab the mail, you’ll likely be fine. But a walk around the block or an afternoon in the garden can pose a risk.

So go ahead and enjoy your bright, uplifting oils! Let’s just give them the respect they deserve when it comes to sunshine.

🍉✨ Sparkling Lavender Watermelon Cooler — hydrating, blush-pink & picnic-ready

Juicy watermelon purée meets bubbly soda and a lavender-honey kiss for the most photogenic cooler in the park.

Ingredients (2 glasses)

2 cups seedless watermelon chunks

1 Tbsp lavender honey syrup

1 tsp lime juice

1 cup chilled soda water

Ice, watermelon wedge & lavender sprig

Quick How-To
Blend watermelon until smooth, strain, stir in syrup + lime. Pour over ice, top with soda, garnish.

Do you know what she is? 😍 She is PERFECT for the

🌹 ROSE OF JERICHO or RESURRECTION PLANT 🌹 A magical plant believed to bring peace, power & abundance! Yes! She is alive! I named mine Becky.

🌹 Few plants have a story as special as this magnificent gift from Mother Earth. Also called the RESURRECTION PLANT because of its ability to come back to life after even years of dormancy. This inspiring plant symbolizes rebirth & is believed to attract peace & abundance!

🌹 Actually a type of moss native to desert regions where water is scarce. She can completely dry out, curl up & blow around like a magic feather until finding water. Then, it settles in- unfolds & "blooms" to reveal vibrant green leaves. When the water dries up, she dries out again & dances on to the next water source! Drying out is the secret to her ENDLESS ABUNDANCE! This plant can resurrect over & over again- each time revealing a lush green invitation of abundance!

🌹 HOW TO USE:

- Shake any lose bits & save them. Fill a bowl with enough water to cover the roots, do not submerge. Roll to get the plant wet.

- Watch her unfold! This can take 4+ hours.

- Place by your front door to attract abundance & repel negative energies from entering your home.

- Every 2-4 days, change the water. Use the water to cleanse your door. When you are ready, remove the plant from water.

- Write your wish & fold- place on the plant. The plant will dehydrate & hug your wish until you are ready for her to bloom again! You can also tuck crystals inside.
