🍴 KAHCF Culinary Mystery Box Cooking Competition 🍴
We are so proud of our amazing dining services team, who represented Nazareth Home in the KAHCF Culinary Contest! Their challenge? Create a full-course menu using lentils, condensed milk, cauliflower, peaches, pickles, Brussels sprouts, and soy sauce! 😮
With creativity (and a little help from some of our elders), they whipped up:
🥗 Lentil salad with soy sauce dressing
🌱 Buffalo cauliflower wings with Brussels sprout potato chips
🍑 Peach sorbet with a chocolate-dipped pickle
It all came together into a menu that provided exciting flavors, rave reviews, and a whole lot of fun!

We’re excited to welcome Beth Quinn, PT, DPT, and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy to Nazareth Home on Wednesday, August 27 (3:30–4:30 p.m.) for this month’s Community Education Series!

Her presentation, “The Aging Musculoskeletal System: Why Strength and Flexibility Matter,” will explore how our muscles and bones change as we age, what’s considered normal versus abnormal, and simple exercises to help maintain strength, mobility, and independence.
