Celebrating the Fourth of July safely is still totally doable, even with a rise in COVID cases. Here are some smart ways to enjoy the holiday while keeping yourself and others protected:
🎆 Stay Outdoors When Possible Outdoor gatherings are much safer than indoor ones. Fresh air helps disperse viral particles, so opt for backyard barbecues, picnics, or watching fireworks from a distance.
🧼 Keep It Clean Bring hand sanitizer, especially if you're sharing food or using public restrooms. And don’t forget to disinfect frequently touched surfaces if you're hosting.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Know Your Group If you're gathering with people at higher risk (like older adults or those with health conditions), consider smaller get-togethers or testing beforehand for peace of mind.
💉 Stay Up to Date on Vaccines If you’re eligible for a booster, now’s a great time to get it. It helps reduce the risk of severe illness and transmission.

The first T.U.R.N.I.P. case files have dropped—and each one comes with a mystery to solve, a world to explore, and a challenge just right for your level.

THE SOUREST PANCAKES (Beginner/Sensitive) :: Uncle Don’s pancakes are weird—and so is he. Find out what’s really going on in this fun, food-based mystery.

THE FAIRY VILLAGE (Medium/Classified) :: Tiny villages appear after the rain—then vanish. Who builds them, and why? Create your own and follow the clues.

Mother’s Day is coming up, and on May 9th, Bloodworks Northwest will be back at the KIF Tulalip Health Clinic. Let's honor those who gave us life by donating blood. You can donate every 56 days, and the entire process takes about an hour, including registration, a health check, a 10-minute donation, and a post-donation snack. Your donation supports local patients battling cancer, recovering from surgeries, or facing emergencies.
