🎉 Annual Well-Child Check Reminder! 🎉

Did you know that for children ages 2 and older, their yearly well-child check doesn’t have to happen right around their birthday?

We often hear from parents who feel stressed when they can’t schedule their child’s appointment the same week as their birthday — but no need to worry!

As long as your child is being seen once a year, it’s perfectly fine if their annual visit falls a little before or after their birthday month. For example, a June birthday? A September appointment works just fine!

✅ What matters most: Keeping up with yearly well visits to monitor growth, development, and overall health.

🏀⚽ Is Your Child Playing a School Sport This Year? 🏐🏃‍♂️

If your child is playing a school sport this year that isn’t a fall sport (like basketball, wrestling, or track), please remember:
👉 Their sports physical doesn’t need to be done before school starts.
It just needs to be completed before their first day of practice.

Right now, we are prioritizing scheduling for students who are playing fall sports like volleyball or cross country and whose practices begin in August.

If your child’s sport starts later in the year, there’s still plenty of time to get scheduled!

🎉 Exciting News! New Electronic Health Record System Coming Soon! 🎉

Many of you have asked for a system similar to MyChart — and we listened!

We’re thrilled to announce that starting Monday, September 15th, we’ll be moving to a new electronic health record (EHR) system called PCC (Physicians Computer Company).

With this change, you’ll get access to a new patient portal called My Kid’s Chart — making it easier than ever to communicate with us, access records, and manage your child’s care.

👉 Having your current phone number and email on file will be important for accessing your child’s new portal.
📞 Call us today to make sure we have your most up-to-date phone number and email on file!

🗓️ Important Dates:
🔹 System transition: September 13th-15th
🔹 New system live: Monday, September 15th

📢 Walk-In Lab Hours Are Changing – Starting Monday, July 7th! 🧪

Updated walk-in Physicians Lab hours at Lincoln Pediatric Group. Please call ahead so we can prepare your lab orders in advance.

🕒 New Walk-In Lab Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
⏸️ Closed for lunch daily from 1:00 – 1:30 PM
🚫 No weekend walk-in lab services

📄 Bring Your Lab Orders:
If your lab orders are from a provider outside of Lincoln Pediatric Group, please bring a printed copy with you.

When I’m not working full-time at Southeast Community College or at LPG, I’m powerlifting, watching Call the Midwife, and spending time with my dogs, Queenie and Colonel Mustard.

Evening walks with Queenie — it’s our daily ritual.
