Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center is bringing back our golf cart patient pick-up service to help guests get to the hospital from the parking lot—and we’re looking for friendly volunteers to drive! Shifts are available Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 12 PM and 12 PM to 5 PM. This is a great opportunity for our retired neighbors or anyone who wants to give back to the community in a meaningful way. Welcome Dr. Velgos!!

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Jennifer Susoreny-Velgos to Wellstar General Surgery in LaGrange! Dr. Velgos is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in robotic-assisted surgeries, including hernia repair, appendectomy and colon resections, as well as caring for breast, thyroid and skin conditions. Since 2013, the Insiders program has offered twenty community leaders per year exclusive access to Wellstar West Georgia’s physicians, medical services, and advanced technologies during eight monthly sessions.
