Wasting time is wasting the I AM PRESENCE In which we came here to do, be and see!

Good evening Precious Hearts. I am sharing another bit of instruction from the “I AM” Activity tonight. It comes from Lady Master Lotus as Edna Ballard at the time, but also includes an excerpt of her choosing from the Mighty Elohim Arcturus.
The topic as given was about “killing time.” For those who don’t know English or know very little, killing time is an expression for doing something only because you’re waiting for the time pass until the time comes for you to do whatever it was you were waiting for. Typically, those things are nonsensical or trivial and without meaning or purpose.

An example of this given by Arcturus is playing Bridge. Bridge is a card game that was played extensively in the 1930s, when this Dictation came forth. I don’t know what the game is called by other countries, but Bridge is a well-known game in the countries I have lived in. The game itself isn’t really important though; just imagine any card game you know about and substitute that game for Bridge.
Though they use the phrase “killing time,” extensively here, today we more often refer to it as wasting time. They are one and the same, and today there is far more opportunities for people to waste time, and it’s much more common. Today what do we have available to us, and what do kids have offered to them and encouraged from what they see parents and other kids and society doing: phones, screens, social media. There’s also video games galore for kids to play, multiple game systems to play on, game chairs so they can sit there longer and more comfortably. And what about games on phones? They can waste hours of time for people.

So, especially today we have to be on guard for this. What you do in your daily affairs is essentially what you have your Presence doing. Now, of course your Electronic Body is not just sitting up there waiting for Calls to answer, or waiting for you to decide to do something constructive, but when the ego or the outer self take command and cause someone to go off track and play a game on the phone when you’re in bed, that is the outer personality taking the Light from the Presence and doing something the Presence would never do.

As you can imagine, wasting time is actually one of the worst things to do with your Light, because we have an allotted amount of Light for a given lifetime. For students to understand, this can sometimes be adjusted if the experiences of the outer self, and the progress made requires something extra. But Beloved Arcturus warns of us of possibly some deep consequences that return to you, until you can be brought back to the Teachings.
The Great Ascended Master Arcturus in His Instruction to the "I AM" Students some months ago explained the reaction of the Great Law of Life in the waste of time; and it is one of the most important things for mankind to understand and remember.
I quote from the Ascended Master Arcturus' Discourse on pages 118 - 119 of Ascended Master Discourses:
"We look into the atmosphere of Earth, and see in the social world, which has been taught through habit, to waste long hours in playing bridge and such various activities. Think, Precious Ones, what those hours spent calling forth the Perfection of the "I AM Presence" into their own world […] would mean. Is it not curious how mankind has sought through habit—Oh, God!—to kill time? Think of it! Think of the millions of times that expression has been used: "Oh, I just want to kill time." Precious Ones, if you have ever uttered those words, please do not utter them again. Words are cups which carry the qualities which you express.
“When We focus the Mighty Rays of Light and look upon the Earth from Our own Octave of Light, We have seen the great waste of time—human beings actually doing what their words express: "killing time." It means that you are depriving yourself of the time allotted to you here on Earth to produce Perfection in your world."

That means if you waste time in this life, you will have severe experiences in the embodiments which follow; and whatever is needed to complete your Victory in the Light will be crowded into one, two, or three embodiments to compel you to fulfill your own plan in physical experience. So wake up and utilize all your time in the Service of the Light!
When you realize the Great Law of Life is constantly returning to you that which you send out, some of you are being reprimanded pretty severely today. It is a terrific arraignment of Life; and Life will not warn you by saying," Watch out! You're going to suffer for what you send out." Life is simply silent, waiting until you have enough suffering. The Ascended Masters have prompted and prompted again and again: do not do that, or you will have to pay the penalty; but your own Life remains silent and returns to you again and again and again your own misery. Still the stubborn feelings in the average person will not let that person say, "'Mighty I AM Presence' of Life! Take all this discord out of me, and take me out of misery!" So much of what mankind does creates conditions which will return upon them into the next embodiment.

Therefore, Beloved Ones, Life is relentless but beneficent; and he who loves Life will do everything in his power to cooperate with Life and release the Mighty Light Rays of the Ascended Masters to bring those same Mighty Blessings to all mankind; for
"The Light of God Never Fails!"
"The Light of God Never Fails!"
"The Light of God Never Fails!"
And the "Mighty I AM Presence" is that Light!
