*A Message from Dr. Petrilli*
Dear Friends,
As I celebrate my 31st year of dentistry, 28 of which have been here in Apopka, I want to thank each and every one of you who have given me the honor and privilege of being your dentist. The trust and confidence in me and my team has been both professionally and personally rewarding. The support you have shown me over the last 28 years, and especially in the past 3 challenging years, has been humbling and I am grateful to each of you. After much deliberation, I have decided that is time to hand over the reigns and transition to the next chapter of my life, retirement.
It has been my goal to transition knowing that my practice and patients will be left in the most competent and caring hands. As a result of careful deliberation and valuation, I have found Dr. Charlie Bowen to hold similar philosophies and provide the same level of patient care and respect you have come to expect from our practice.
Dr. Bowen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Howard University College of Dentistry after graduating from Florida International University with a degree in Chemistry. Upon graduating with his DDS, he completed a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital to further advance his education and experience in dental and oral surgery. He has active memberships in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association, and the International Dental Implant Association. He has practiced dentistry in Central Florida for over 17 years, and is really looking forward to transitioning from a group practice setting to a private practice. He has always had a passion for dentistry, and is committed to delivering the best quality treatment each patient deserves. He has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in different areas of dentistry, including limited oral surgery and implant placement, so that he may offer the best possible options and care to his patients. He understands the value of a smile, and is committed to helping each patient to feel their very best.
Dr. Bowen has been happily married for 26 years, and has two beautiful daughters, one currently attending the University of Central Florida, and a Senior in high school and starting at UCF in the Fall. He is an avid soccer player and fan, loves track and field, the English Premier Soccer League, and bird watching. He loves and appreciates the multitude of outdoor activities that living in Florida offers.
Our team (Abby, Audrina, Yesenia, Sarah and Adriana) will remain with the practice, and continue to provide you with the personalized service you have come to expect. Dr. Bowen also plans to remain active with all insurance plans that our practice currently accepts, as continuity of care is of the utmost importance. The team is very excited to welcome Dr. Bowen, and they look forward to continuing to provide the best dental care possible to our patients and community.
To say that I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve you for these past 28 years would be an understatement. You all have been my family, and I am truly grateful for each of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I wish you all the very best.
