🚨 Big updates are coming to our Prepared Childbirth Education! 🚨

Starting August 19, we’re making it even easier for growing families to get the support and education they need — on their time.

Instead of weekly classes, all patients will now receive free access to a brand new app packed with videos, articles, and resources from 5 weeks pregnant through 52 weeks postpartum — available in 18 languages! 🌎📱

✨ Want hands-on support too? We’ve got you covered! Monthly in-person sessions with Tina Johnson Womack and Shannon Zanger include:
✅ OB Department tour (4th floor, Blessing Hospital)
✅ Postpartum & infant feeding overview
✅ Birth preferences support
✅ App education

📍 The tours will be on the 4th floor (OB) of Blessing Hospital at 1 pm and 6:30 pm. If you wish to participate in the class, the class will last from 7-8:30 pm, following the evening tour. The Tuesday class and tours will be on the third Tuesday of every month.

And starting in September, join Chloé Gay for a monthly Sunday OB tour — the first Sunday of every month at 1 PM!

🍋✨ From a single lemonade stand to a community-wide movement — Grace and June turned sweet drinks into serious impact!

What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into 65 lemonade stands and over $30,000 raised for The Salvation Army - Quincy, IL. ❤️

These two young change-makers — daughters of one of our amazing Blessing Health team members, Kellea Hendrian — are proof that giving back starts young, and that generosity is contagious.

With a big heart and a lot of lemonade, they're serving up meals, hope, and a whole lot of smiles. Here’s to the kids who dream big, the families who lead with love, and the communities who rally behind them.🍋🍩💛

📆 This year's event will take place on Saturday, August 30, with most stands operating from 9-11 am. Grace and June's stand will be located at Hardy's Radiator (North 12th, across from the Illinois Veterans Home entrance).

✨Butterfly Moments is returning, and this is the final call to reserve your butterfly✨

Join us on Sunday, August 17 at Moorman Park as we come together to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of those we’ve loved and lost. 🦋

Each butterfly released is a symbol of remembrance and hope — a gentle moment to reflect and feel connected to those who remain in our hearts.

🌿 Registration: 1:30 p.m.
🦋 Reading of names + butterfly release: 2:00 p.m.
🎶 Live music, kids' activities, and light refreshments provided.
💛 Open to all — whether or not your loved one received hospice care.

What a day!💙

We are beyond thankful for everyone who joined us for our first-ever Patient Picnic celebrating our cleft and craniofacial anomalies families. Seeing so many smiling faces and strong, beautiful stories come together reminded us why we do what we do.

This team is something special—not just because of the care we provide, but because we get to offer it right here at home. Keeping families close, supported, and surrounded by their community is at the heart of it all.

Butterfly Moments is back!💙🦋

Join us on Sunday, August 17, at the Moorman Park Large Shelter, located off North 39th Street in Quincy, as we celebrate the lives and memories of those we have loved and lost.

Cost is $10 per butterfly, and orders must be placed by August 1. This event will be held rain or shine. If the individual reserving the butterfly cannot attend, the butterfly will be released by a member of the Blessing Hospice staff.

Registration begins at 1:30 pm, with the reading of names and release of butterflies to remember our loved ones scheduled at 2:00 pm. Live music and kids' activities will be available, along with light refreshments.
