Many of you have been asking... what is a SPECT scan?
 
It’s a brain imaging tool that shows blood flow and activity, helping our doctors diagnose more accurately and personalize treatment.
 
To make this possible, a safe, tiny amount of isotope (similar to a CT scan) is given during a cognitive assessment. Why then? Because it captures the brain while it’s working.
 
Then it’s scan time. The key? Stillness.
 
Brian used his 20 minutes to sneak in a quick catnap — no movement means a clear, accurate scan.
 
And just like that, the scan is done, and Brian’s on his way to better brain health. 🧠
