Often, we try to solve our relational anxiety with more thinking. We try to “figure out” the connection before we’ve even arrived in our own bodies.
Today, I invite you to try a different way.
This practice is the “Arrival” from this week’s spoken reflection. It is a simple invitation to stop bracing and remember that you are being held by the chair beneath you, the ground under your feet, and the rhythm of your own breath.
The Practice: Next time you feel a rush of urgency, take 30 seconds to land. Notice the contact points. Let the exhale soften the jaw.
How does the world look when you aren’t bracing against it? 🌿
