Our son’s 2nd annual Warrior Men’s Lacrosse online auction is coming up this Sunday starting at 7pm (CST) and I wanted to share the link with you all, so that you can get excited and also share with anyone that may be interested! More items are being added daily, but this is sure to be an awesome fundraising event for our team here in North Austin. Lots of potential upcoming holiday gifts, so share with your loved ones as well!

If you live out of town, I can likely arrange shipment on most items, so reach out to me privately. 👍🏼

I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about it before, but lacrosse in Texas is not yet an IUL sport, so no state funding…. just all of us volunteering parents and athletes doing what we can in the way of fundraising to lower our costs for everything many teams don’t have to pay for: coaches, referees, field time to play, equipment, uniforms and more.

This a a BIG deal for hearing aid users! Less accessories you need to purchase to stream audio from various devices. Public venues that traditionally use the telecoil looping will likely switch to this as well and make their audio content more accessible, too! Amazing!

Windows 11 will support use of hearing aids equipped with the latest Bluetooth Low Energy Audio (LE Audio) technology.

So many big box companies think they'll take a stab at selling hearing aids and then back out, leaving those that purchased with them hanging high and dry. It's just a shame.

Beginning August 26, 2023, Walmart will no longer offer hearing aids or hearing care services through its Walmart Health centers.

Never assume someone is too old or doesn't want to explore new technology. One of my patient's today is a 103 yr old woman w/ mild to moderate hearing loss. She wants something "modern that connects to her iPhone". These will actually make her hearing and life easier - no more batteries to change every 4 days, no more blasting her phone on speaker mode. Bluetooth streaming and rechargeable are the standard now. These aren't your grandma's hearing aids! :) Happy Friday! ♥️

So something has come along that helps those "not quite ready" for hearing aids. I've become a certified provider to fit these - only available through audiologists. Know someone that needs to try these?
