Dear Saddle Up Artists,

As you know, Saturday December 9th is our very last day of classes at Saddle Up Therapeutic Riding Stables.
We would like to invite you all to show up this Saturday for one more art day.
We have some art supplies and gifts to give you.

I would like to thank you all for the wonderful memories of our time together.
We created so many unique art together over the last ten years. We accomplished a lot and had so much fun.
Thank you for showing up and being you!
I hope to see you on Saturday!
I want to also personally thank Miss Bri and Miss Kyrsten for continuing leading the art club. You both have come a long way in this creative adventure. Thank you for keeping Emily's Art Club active and fun and always celebrating our artists. I hope you both continue to create and enjoy art!

Today we painted tiny pumpkins and mushrooms.
We even turned some of our pumpkins into ladybugs.

Welcome back, artists! 🤍 Fall session has begun and it feels great to be making art together again. We did some rip art today and made some special cards for special people in our lives, just because. 🥰 "Just because" surprises are the best kind of surprises.

All week long we celebrated the Kentucky Derby. We created our own Derby hats, enjoyed finger sandwiches with Mint Juleps (sweet tea with mint) and raced our mighty Saddle Up racehorses!!
The horses and riders enjoyed the racing and competition!
The hats all turned out amazing and colorful!!

Great job Saddle Up riders!!!

Happy Saturday, friends! 💜 We arrived with no plans and decided we needed a painting day to paint how we were feeling. Everyone used this opportunity to not only get to be creative, but just open up about how they've been feeling the past week. There seemed to be a lot of worrying and stress released today and it turned into some beautiful art 🥰 some people have deep conversations over coffee, but Emily's Art Club has it over paint. 🎨💜

March has been a great month for art. Emily's Art Club had their chair and art work on display at the Palmdale Playhouse. The event raised more than $3000 for West Coast Classical.
Tonight was the opening reception for the Antelope Valley Union High School student art exhibit at MOAH Cedar. Kyrsten was thrilled to be one of the students chosen to show their art.

Spring has sprung! Well... in our imaginations, at least 🌸 before that fun snow storm, our artists used forks as art tools and painted rainbows & flowers. It's so fascinating to give growing minds the same tools and watch as everyone creates something unique and beautiful. 🤍🌈

Miss Brie likes to remind our artists that there's always magic in the process. When playing and experimenting with art, it's never about having a goal of what it should look like. The goal is the laughter and joy the process brings!
