What a great last day of National FFA Week!💙💛 our activity of the day was FFA Officer signatures! Jakxyn Fry was the winner, getting all but one signature!📝 During our assembly, we announced elementary coloring contest winners, played tug-of-war, (even the staff got involved!) and pied an FFA Officer who got voted on by the elementary!🥧

On Wednesday for National FFA Week, our activity was “what are you thankful for in agriculture, or why are you thankful for farmers?” Our winner of that was Miah Burgher!🧑🏼‍🌾 For our assembly, we played a fun game of Farmer Dash! Students had to gear up and race to do their “chores”, which consisted of gathering the eggs and herding their cows!🥚🐮🤠 the freshman won!🏆

What a great second day of National FFA Week! We started off bright and early with the staff, school board, and alumni breakfast!☀️🥞🍳🍊
Our activity throughout the day was count the kernels🌽 there were 1934 kernels with a winning guess of 2000!
For our assembly, we had teacher ag trivia! Teachers went head to head in answering a variety of agriculture questions!🧑🏼‍🌾🚜 (Facebook won’t let me add a video, check the comments for Lily’s awesome pancake flip!🥞)

We had a great first day of National FFA Week!💙💛 during the day, 10 small farm animals were hidden throughout the high school. Aubree Hill found all 10 and won the prize for the day!🐷🐰🐴🐓🐖🐮for our assembly, we did wheelbarrow barrel racing! The junior class representatives won with a time of 31 seconds!🛢️🐴

Last week, some of our Animal Production students had the opportunity to learn about the process of OPU (O**m Pick-Up) with a Vytelle satellite site, Diamond Bar E Genetics!🐮🧬

Students learned about the process and retrieval of oocytes from donor cows, sorting and cleaning the oocytes, and the steps in fertilizing them and placing them in recipient cows!
