Uyen Nguyen (MS1): I got my husband reconnected with a long-lost friend from high school when I came to my first Vietmed social event. 🙂⁣

Bella Nguyen (clinical research coordinator/pre-med): I've donated almost twice my height in hair!⁣
⁣
Sharon Kim Truong (MS1): My family and I love to travel, especially through road trips. Twice, we drove from San Jose, CA to Orlando, FL and back! Through them, I gained a love for road trips, as well as a lot of patience in life too!⁣

Sydney D**g (MS2): I don’t grow wisdom teeth! ⁣

Christina Huynh (MS2), Thanh Luong (MS2), and Sydney D**g (MS2) have worked together for the past 2 years to start VietMed, with the help of our faculty advisors, org alumni, and volunteers! As a team, they’ve planned community events such as COVID-19 vaccination clinics, undergrad pre-med workshops, student socials, and a health education/screening booth at the San Diego Tết Festival. ⁣
