The Northern Lighthouse, Inc. TNLH provides mental health services to children, adults, and families. TNLH has one of the largest Outpatient Therapy departments in Aroostook County.

We offer Case Management, Section 21, 28, and 29 services, Residential Treatment, a Substance Use Disorder Program, Home and Community Based Treatment, and Outpatient Therapy. With 12 certified therapists and friendly, experienced staff, we’re able to provide the best care for adults and children with mental and behavioral disabilities. TNLH is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health

services for children and adults of all ages who have intellectual disabilities or mental health disorders. TNLH primarily serves families in Aroostook and Kennebec counties, but also serves populations across Maine through telehealth services.

Have you marked your calendars for Behind the Barriers: An Evening of Action & Learning for Homeless Youth?

Join us September 26th 6:00pm-9:00pm. This event will raise funds and awareness for The Northern Lighthouse Safe Harbor Shelter and Transitional Living Program. During the event, guest speakers from throughout Maine will discuss reasons why youth would be in a situation of runaway or homelessness; including: human trafficking, domestic violence, substance abuse, and family financial instability. Fun activities such as bonfires, s'more bars, Cheri’s Wiener Wagon, Different Point of Brew Coffee & Tea co. and more! We will also have Aroostook County organizations tabling to inform participants about their services.

Each event guest will agree to pledge $50 to support funding for The Northern Lighthouse shelters to attend.

Bring your chairs & blankets, and join us for an evening of awareness and fun!

Our guests at The Northern Lighthouse Transitional Living Program enjoy doing book clubs as a group activity during their stay with us. Most often the case is that we are unable to afford books to do so. Help sponsor a book that will expand our library at the shelters - and support a local business!
