Sorry y’all meant to get this out earlier.
As a doctor and a coach, I stay very busy. Every day. And Monday’s are always my busiest day.
With people crashing down from the (sometimes quite literal) high from the weekend, I wake up to an inbox full of requests from people asking -begging! for me to change their life. And I can’t. But you can:
Set yourself up for success on Sunday. Visualize the end of the week. How do you want to feel? What do you need to do to? Plan ahead and remove the noise and chaos that you have accepted as your routine. Actually have a routine! Create space for happiness.
Change your mindset. You are not your circumstances. You can choose to have a bad day or a good day. Choose wisely and act accordingly.
Hate your job? Quit! Or at least make a plan to. Spend 30 dedicated minutes each day to finding a quality job (I said quality, no need to hop out of the frying pan into the fire), and make a goal to get out at least one application a week. For how long? For as long as it takes.
Move! Dance, jog, run, bike, lift, walk, cripwalk, moonwalk - Don’t matter. Just move and create blood flow to your brain for positivity. Just move away from the negativity. Just move towards what you want and need.
There’s no secret (and if there is, I promise you already know the answer). You already have everything you need. You don’t need to buy another book, subscribe to another program, go on another diet. You don’t even need me. You just need to do. And be. Align your words with your actions. Practice silence and allow your true self to speak. And listen. Have faith. No! practice faith! Believe in yourself. You are more than you know. Monday, and everyday.
