This week's blog post is very unique in that I used CHAT GPT to create it. This was a framework presented in one of my current classes in graduate school at the University of North Florida. I am aware of the controversy associated with AI (especially in the art community); but we all need to remember we created AI and just like anything, it is our responsibility as a consumer to take everything with a grain of salt. I did not use opinion to influence the prompts; instead I wanted to see what views it gave me relating to health and fitness in 2023. I am very impressed and I think you will be as well. This will more than likely be my only AI generated post, but I think it will shape media and influence our culture even more. It is revolutionary and very unique. It is ok to have opinions, but as always, please be kind if you leave comments (especially since this is a theoretical approach to communication tactics in the 21st century). Thank you, as always, for supporting me as I try to bridge disparities in both education and health in this world.

I know it is not an easy task I am setting out to take on, but it is what I am supposed to do in this life and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

There are so many wonderful things about powerlifting, but where do you start? 🔜

Here are my top 5 tips for preparing for a Powerlifting Competition:
1️⃣Budget, meets can be expensive, so plan ahead financially
2️⃣Prepare for Weigh-In’s by bringing your gear and everything for meet day
3️⃣Prioritize sleep, make sure to get 7-8 hours before the meet
4️⃣Bring accessories/snacks and beverages. Meets are long, make sure you have what you need
5️⃣Make sure you have your chosen attempts on your phone or printed out to help the meet run smoothly! ⚪️⚪️⚪️

Today’s Blog topic: what is strength training? 🤔💪🏽

Strength training may seem pretty understandable to some, but what truly is it? Per the International Sports Sciences Association, Strength is defined as: the ability to contract the muscles with maximum force, given constraints stemming from the following:
•Structural/anatomical factors
•Physiological/biochemical factors
•Psychoneural/psychosocial factors
•External/environmental factors

So why is that important to you? Firstly, strength training is an amazing fitness regiment that can improve many parts of the body. "A lack of muscular strength [efforts] in conjunction with a decrease in bone density with increase in age, are health concerns of the general population" (Issa, 186). The body is a machine, therefore, it needs to be put to work to work properly. Thus, a strength component in your workout can be extremely beneficial in assisting your goals and overall health.

As an ambassador for I am so excited to talk about my passion for supplementation! 🤓

Although it is possible to achieve a healthy lifestyle without including supplements, I definitely recommend looking into supplementing if you fall into one or more of these categories:
- [ ] Constantly fatigued
- [ ] Sore/Achy
- [ ] Immune deficiencies
- [ ] Decline in physical performance

As someone who works a 9-5 job, trains 4-5 times a week and is an online personal trainer, I understand that filling in nutritional gaps can be difficult, but that’s where supplementing can help!

I am happy to announce the official new logo for EBB. I have gone back and forth and played around with different designs, but I wanted something simple yet whimsical. I’m very happy with the new logo and inclusion of the feather. I used which is an awesome editing website/app to help customize beautiful designs. 🪶

People might just see a logo and move on, but now with a proper logo, I see possibilities and passion. The future feels bright 🙌🏽💡
