A milestone in our 125-year journey in Green Bay.

In July 1974, the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis officially assumed sponsorship of St. Mary's. This transition meant that faith-based, compassionate care would continue for generations to come.

Their leadership and faith laid the foundation for the care we continue to provide today.

As we celebrate 125 years of compassionate care at HSHS St. Mary’s, we’re taking a look back at the milestones that shaped our journey.

📸 Forty-six years ago today, ground was broken for a new hospital building...right on our front lawn. While construction began outside, healing continued inside the existing facility. This was a turning point that reflected our commitment to growing with the needs of our community.
