Dealing with knee pain? 🏃‍♂️ It could be patellar tendinitis—but don’t worry, we’ve got your back (or knees)!

What is Patellar Tendinitis?
Also called "jumper’s knee", this happens when the tendon connecting your kneecap to your shinbone gets overused or strained, often from activities like running, jumping, or sudden stops and starts.

🤕Common symptoms include pain below the kneecap, swelling, stiffness, and weakness.

Start with rest to avoid making it worse. 🧊Ice the area a few times a day to reduce swelling and pain. 🏋️Physical therapy can strengthen the knee and stretch the patellar tendon to improve mobility. In some cases, your doctor may recommend additional treatments like braces, medications, or other therapies.
