We would like to see our chapter become more involved with getting in front of children and also culinary students. We have noticed that if you show students what you have to offer many will follow your foot steps to learn from you to become better at there chosen field. Interacting with local south Jersey school kids we can teach nutrition and also bring awareness to what we do as chefs and food

industry professionals. Kids need positive role models and also to learn about whom we are so they can better under stand what we do. The local ACIT is looking for chefs to come in and help teach the culinary students about chefs and pass on knowledge that we have so they can learn more and be better prepared. One of the goals I will put forward is to make sure every chef and food industry person knows that ACF offers education and support for them. Our certification programs or our community involvement will benefit everyone who gets involved.
