The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life through comfort care, support, and compassion for hospice patients in the Faribault area.

Faribault Area Hospice Foundation financial assistance is available to hospice enrolled patients connected to the District One Hospital service area with financial hardship or to cover complementary therapies for hospice patient comfort (e.g. music therapy, massage therapy, aromatherapy, acupuncture). Thousands of lights have been strung on evergreens near the hospital by the Faribault Area Hospice since 1985. Every light honors a memory and symbolizes a life deserving of celebration.
