"This patient wanted lifting of the lower face and neck. I performed a new technique of creating a sling with one thread by not removing the cannula while pulling back. The thread is instead redirected to a new vector and pushed up until the thread releases. The cannula is now removed while applying pressure to the thread. This creates a sling without a knot. It is a cleaner way to create a sling without the potential skin tethering. PCL 100 mm thread used. Noticed a strong lift. Thanks to Les Encres for the advice."

"Smokers' lines are what we call them. “But I don’t smoke “ is the quick response. No judging here, I promise!🙋🏽‍♀️

It really is caused by the pursing movements of the mouth, as in ‘duckface’ for selfies or drinking through straws, or puckering up for kisses. Collagen gets fractured and broken each time.

In any case, Smokers lines: Not Pretty.

Anyhow. There were no good solutions until PDO threads came along. These are Les Encres PDO threads. It takes a minute now to grow new collagen - BUT - look at the difference! "
