I’m doing my first real peel! This is a spicule peel, made from thousands of microscopic sponge needles which pe*****te into the epidermis stimulating collagen production in a similar way that microneedling does while also creating micro channels that allow for better product absorption. The spicules themselves stick around for 24-72hrs before dissolving and releasing all their phytonutrients. I’ve been using a light spicule peel monthly for about 4 months and decided to be brave and try the deeper peel. I’m not gonna lie, it was SPICY! The photos are during, immediately after and then this morning. You can see I have a little pinkness and swelling which is expected and normal. In a day or two, I’ll start actually shedding!

Look at that jaw line correction! Thank you to my lovely model who allowed me to photograph her after 30mins of facial massage including me gloving up and working her inner jaw muscles. In the before photo, you can really see the misalignment as her jaw is tracking to the right causing tension and pain. I’m double certified to offer intraoral/buccal massage and have been helping folks with jaw release for over a decade. Do you have jaw pain, clicks, tension headaches? HMU, I’m your gal.

Monday’s event was such a beautiful gathering of kindred spirits, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who joined the Sound Bath experience. It was so important to me that this soft re-introduction felt gentle and intentional, nurturing a sense of community. We shared a calming 30-minute sound bath, some delicious herbal tea, and precious time to connect and unwind together. Thank you for making it so special.

When the Madrona House was an old craftsman in Madrona, my favorite thing to see was the collection of shoes left at the door preceding any class. It just tugged on my heart strings and brought such joy to know that people were gathering for mutual connection and healing. Seeing this in my sink last night brought the same feelings and lots of gratitude to be invited back into facilitating community healing spaces again. Thank you to those of you who are standing behind me and gently pushing me back out there. You know who you are and I cannot express the depth of my gratitude for the love and validation.

I'm very excited to be offering this new service. If you've never had nanoneedling done, there are no actual needles, instead, they are tiny pyramid-shaped pins covered in silicone which create microchannels to increase product absorption. These microchannels close within about 15 minutes. There is zero pain or discomfort and no healing downtime whatsoever. Just an instant, beautiful glow. The pumpkin mask is, of course, formulated by yours truly

I need a practice model for buccal massage! I’m working through another (I know, I know) certification for NeoLifting. This modality weaves sculpting, lymphatic drainage, and intra oral (inside the mouth) work that lifts, tones, and sculpts the facial structures. This is a full 75mins of facial massage and includes me gloving up to massage the insides of your cheeks and lips which, in my experience, shows the most promising results for non-invasively treating nasolabial folds (smiles lines) and sagging jowls. To be a good candidate for this work, you must be a new client (or a client I’ve never done facial treatments with), no active acne lesions, and be comfortable with me putting my fingers in your mouth. Dont worry, I’m a professional😂. Jokes aside though, I’ve been endorsed for intra oral work through my massage license for over a decade and have been treating jaw tightness and headaches intra-orally with great results. So often my serums come out opaque and colored due to the potency of my herbal infusions. It’s a rare treat to see something so clear and elegant as this snow mushroom extract, also called tremella. Hyaluronic acid is an important part of your skin’s natural moisturizing factors (NMF) and helps to plump and hydrate. Does a botanical version of HA perform better? In this case, I believe it does. As a plant extract, it contains other phytonutrients that can calm irritation, smooth uneven texture, act as an antioxidant, is composed of film forming polysaccharides which help repair barrier, and it can even support a skin brightening regiment.
