April 21-April 26 is National Infertility Awareness Week. Did you know that infertility affects 1 in 6 people? Infertility is a disease of the male or female reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual in*******se.

In addition to local organizations and fertility practitioners, acupuncture is known to help regulate hormones, increase blood flow, reduce inflammation and stress, and calm anxiety. As an office that specializes in reproductive health, we have assisted countless families on their pregnancy journeys.

In honor of Infertility Awareness Week, Woodland Hills Acupuncture Wellness Center is offering a complimentary first visit acupuncture and evaluation to 8 couples with fertility challenges (will be honored for the remainder of April and all of May). WILDFIRE COMMUNITY RELIEF

Our hearts are heavy seeing the devastation that our city has endured from the recent fires. We are heartbroken for our neighbors, friends, and family who have all been affected.

We want to help in any way that we can. We are offering free acupuncture to anyone who has lost their home in the fire along with front line first responders. Acupuncture can help with nervous system relief, lung support, and ease the collective grief we are all experiencing. Call, text, or DM to schedule an appointment.

We are inviting our birthing community to join us on Wednesday, November 13th from 6-8 PM as we introduce Caitlin Oliveros, our newest office practitioner! Caitlin Mari Oliveros is a licensed physical therapist, certified pilates instructor, and founder of Studio Duyan Physical Therapy + Wellness.

Her specializations include: chronic pain, pelvic health, scoliosis through the Schroth Method, and hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Caitlin will be giving a short presentation to discuss “Breathing the Gap,” prenatal and postnatal preparedness and Screening for scoliosis and hypermobilty in women and why it’s important. In honor of opening day of the 2024 Olympics, a flashback to gold medalist Michael Phelps sporting cupping marks during the 2016 games! Phelps, and many other Olympic athletes, are big supporters of cupping to release muscle tension and support a quicker recovery from muscle fatigue and lactic acid buildup.

However, cupping can be used to treat much more than just pain! It has been used for thousand of years in Asian Medicine to promote blood flow, calm the nervous system, clear congestion from a cold and other respiratory ailments, aid in digestion, fertility, and much more!
