We are a small organization, but our board members cover 100% of administrative expenses, so that EVERY DOLLAR YOU DONATE GOES DIRECTLY TO EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES/MEDICATIONS, AND EDUCATION/TRAINING of local eye care providers.

The WHO announced Wednesday that it would broadly roll out a much-need malaria vaccine, saying pilot testing had shown that it was safe and could be effectively deployed in remote and rural settings.

Exciting news!

A potential new malaria vaccine has proved highly effective in a trial in babies in Africa, pointing to it one day possibly helping reduce the death toll from the mosquito-born disease that kills up to half a million young children a year.
