For the past few months I’ve been sitting with my body. Tuning into where my nervous system is showing me how emotional patterns of survival, once necessary to preserve my life, are still operating in the now.
This has been fascinating.
Going deeper into what it means to slow down, listen, and feel what patience and peace feels like in my body.
A lot of what I’ve been encountering goes back to birth and baby stage- the nonverbal awarenesses which don’t have a native tongue. Rather the language is sensations, reactions, and responses to the emotional waves moving around the baby.
Fascinating to go into meditation and travel back to these infant spaces which are still active in the now.
Focusing on sharing tools with these nonverbal parts so that my nervous system can hum in places that it doesn’t at the moment.
