We are incredibly thankful for our partners for hosting such a great event last night to show their support of our first- and second-year Nurse Anesthesia Residents.

Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡, 𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒, and 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 that makes our program so special.

We are proud to highlight the incredible leadership of our nurse anesthesia residents—at the state and national level:

𝑹𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 and 𝑲𝒚𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝑵𝒊𝒕𝒛 are serving as 𝑲𝒚𝑨𝑵𝑨 𝑵𝑨𝑹 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔, bringing the student voice to our state association.

Our 1st-year NARs took over the sim lab today and 𝑐𝑟𝑢𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑑 their airway management practice! 🫁 💨

From bag-mask ventilation to intubation, these are building critical skills that form the foundation of safe, effective anesthesia care.

Proud of their focus, teamwork, and growing confidence in the lab! 👏🏽

Today marks the first day of in-person classes for our newest cohort of 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔.

We are so proud of their enthusiasm, professionalism, and the energy they brought to campus today. The future of anesthesia is bright—and it starts here!

Our Nurse Anesthesia residents, faculty, and staff had the honor of attending a special luncheon with Dr. Mushtaque Juneja on campus.

It was a wonderful opportunity to hear Dr. Juneja share his journey, insights on leadership, and ongoing support for advancing nurse anesthesia education.

Moments like these remind us of the strong community behind the Bellarmine Nurse Anesthesia program—and the exciting future ahead.

This past weekend, our Nurse Anesthesia Residents participated in an incredible hands-on workshop hosted by 𝑴𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, focused on 𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅-𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂 (𝑼𝑮𝑹𝑨) and 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕-𝒐𝒇-𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 (𝑷𝑶𝑪𝑼𝑺). 💉🫀

The workshop featured in-depth instruction on UGRA techniques, POCUS applications, and an immersive 𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒃 that brought anatomy and clinical practice together in real time.

Today, our Nurse Aneshesia Residents were in Frankfort for 𝐂𝐑𝐍𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥, advocating for the future of our profession and patient care. Engaging with legislators, they were amplifying the voice of CRNAs and highlighting the critical role we play in anesthesia care.
