Dr. Matthew Thompson is a board certified Family Practice physician. Born in Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Thompson moved to the DFW area when he was eight years old and is a graduate of Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. Dr. Thompson earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. After college, he attended medical school at the University of North Texas H
eath Science Center in Fort Worth, where he obtained his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency also in Fort Worth at Plaza Hospital. Dr. Thompson specializes in complete care for your entire family. In addition to his vast medical knowledge, he know renown for his bedside manner and compassionate approach to medicine. Dr. Thompson takes pride in being an independent physician and brings a human touch to a world where medicine has become "corporate". Dr. Thompson is married and has three young sons. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his boys participate in local sports, golf, and spending time with his family. Dr. Thompson is a member of The American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Denton County Medical Society, and The Denton Chamber of Commerce.
