I'm Robyn Chapman, a seasoned sales and marketing executive with extensive experience in various industries, including retail. I have designed, launched, relaunched, and helped grow many brands. I've hired and trained sales teams to grow revenue and spent several years in HR management, furthering my expertise. I now seek something different, especially today, where there are great opportunities to pursue what one loves. The common thread throughout my career – and perhaps what I'm most passionate about – is discovering and building relationships and becoming a trusted advisor and partner to the clients I serve. It's challenging to move away from long-honed skills. However, like many others, I have grown weary of working in Corporate America, which led me to take an “Adult Gap Year.”

I am immensely passionate about horses and am a competitive show jumper. Being so immersed in the equestrian lifestyle, it felt natural to open a mobile equestrian boutique and hit the road. After a year and a half, I had my fill of this nomadic existence and was ready to re-engage in a career. However, I couldn't quite bring myself back to corporate life. What does an entrepreneurial-minded person do in this situation? Do what she does best, and help others with it! I have a deep fondness for retail, specifically the smaller, independent retailer, and a strong desire to help build, nurture, and grow your brand and shop. I am eager to work with you to devise effective strategies to propel your brand forward! Let's talk!

Our Story

Boisset Collection at The Metropolitan Farmhouse. We are all about making things better...the world, our surroundings, our space, our things. We introduce new beauty for things already in existence and in doing so, reduce our carbon footprint, give back to the environment, and embrace a delicious life! We are now part of the Boisset Family, a family-owned collection of historic and unique wineries bound together by a common cause: authentic, terroir-driven wines in harmony with their history, their future and the land and people essential to their existence. With more than twenty historical and prestigious wineries in the world’s preeminent terroirs, including the Côte d’Or, Beaujolais, Rhône Valley, California’s Russian River Valley and the Napa Valley, each house retains its unique history, identity, and style, and all are united in the pursuit of fine wines expressive of their terroir.

The Boisset family began farming according to Biodynamic principles in Burgundy in 1994, where they were an early leader in embracing Biodynamic methods. Today, Domaine de la Vougeraie is the leading organic and Biodynamic domain in the Cote d’Or with more than 95 acres under cultivation. In California, Jean-Charles Boisset began implementing Biodynamic farming at DeLoach Vineyards in 2003, which was certified organic by CCOF in 2008 and Biodynamic by Demeter in 2010.

Most recently, Raymond Vineyards was certified CCOF and Demeter in 2013, and in accordance with the Demeter Biodynamic Farm Standard, Raymond set aside ten percent of its estate to biodiversity and home to The Theater of Nature, Napa Valley’s most comprehensive, interactive tour of Biodynamic farming. The experience leads guests through five acts—soil plants, animals, the vineyards, and wholeness—that explains Raymond’s philosophy of sustainable, organic and Biodynamic farming practices through exhibits, seminars, and a self-guided audio tour available on mobile phones at www.theaterofnature.com.

The Metropolitan Farmhouse welcomes an opportunity to introduce you to their wines through a custom wine-tasting event. You can have this at your home, your office, an event space, or even here in our warm and rustically elegant barn! You and a few friends, your family, your party, your office, it doesn’t matter. We’ve got you covered!
