🦷This case is a great example of the capability of creating space with self-ligating braces.🦷

This patient came to us with blocked out upper canines and blocked out lower right canine. He had severe crowding on the top and bottom and they went to multiple consults and other orthodontists recommended extraction of permanent teeth to make room for the canines. 😬

Dr. Peterson with his knowledge and skills of Pitts 21 Self-Ligating braces created room for the canines, created a great esthetic result without flaring out the front teeth and obtained a great bite WITHOUT extractions. 😁

The patient and mother were very happy with the process and results and now he has a smile that will help him fulfill his dreams.

Sometimes you just have that one tooth that just drives you crazy. That was the case for this patient and it was her upper canine rotation that she just couldn’t stand! 😤

We treated her with clear aligners and sometimes there are certain movements that are very difficult to treat with aligners. Dr. Peterson tried all his tricks with those aligners but that tooth was super stubborn and did not want to rotate all of the way.

So every once in a while we have to pivot with the treatment modality to get things just perfect (because Dr. P is a total perfectionist). We switched to some limited braces for 2 months to get the final rotation out and now Jaclyn is thrilled with her smile. 😍 ✨

Have you had treatment in the past but stopped wearing your retainers and then had some movement in your teeth?! SO many people relate.

This beautiful patient came in and just wanted a few things touched up as she had already gone through a full comprehensive treatment.

With only 8 months of treatment we were able to:

🦷 Even out the edges using contouring and IPR
🦷 Remove the dark triangles
🦷 Straighten the teeth using aligners

Haylee had great improvements during her limited treatment and we were able to bring her back to her dream smile! 😃

I think it’s time we give Kala an official introduction 🐶

Kala is going to be trained to be our Office Therapy Dog! She is going to cuddle up with nervous patients and help us be the best part of every patients day. She is still a baby, and has lots to learn but we’ve been having the best time getting her use to the office & the people around her.
