🎄 Holiday Safety Starts with Simple Choices

Festive does not mean risky.
Cozy should never mean careless.
A few small habits keep the holidays safe.

Holiday safety reminders:

🔌 Do not overload your outlets.
When plugging in lights and decorations, think less “how many can I fit?” and more “how many should I?”
Once you decide, cut that number back by at least three. And no, daisy chaining power strips does not count as festive décor.

🌲 Keep your tree watered.
A dry tree is not just sad, it is a serious fire risk. Keep it well watered and at least three feet away from fireplaces, heaters, candles, or any open flame.

💡 Turn off decorations at night and when you leave.
Even if your light display rivals Clark Griswold’s, it still needs a break. Turn off indoor and outdoor lights when you are asleep or away. Better yet, use timers and stay warm.
