Gentle reminder...

If you are under 65 and uninsured, January 15th is the last day to jump into an ACA plan.

This is a plan under which the government will pay a portion of your health insurance premium if your income is low enough.

Essentially, anyone who is a gig worker or contractor or works in retail or a restaurant setting are great candidates.

Even entrepreneurs and business owners who need options can find discounts on health insurance plans.

If you or someone you know fits any of these situations, just visit TexasACAplans.com to see what coverage they may qualify for. You can also call me directly at 281.870.3599.

Major national plans are those like Cigna and Humana.

Regional or local plans are those with a company like Kelsey Care...a local Houston Medicare advantage plans.

A provider lead plan might be Harris Health System or Parkland in Dallas.

Finally, government funded plans are those like Medicare and Medicaid.

Friendly reminder that Medicare Advantage runs from now through March 31st.

This is a time to drop or switch any Medicare Advantage plans that you are currently enrolled in.

Case uses:

- If you would like another Medicare Advantage plan and want to choose a different plan.

- You choose Medicare Advantage but maybe you want to drop it and return to a Medicare Supplement.

- You choose another Medicare Part D plan but you need to switch because your meds are not on the formulary.

If you have more questions regarding Medicare let me know I’m happy to help.

Medicare isn't too difficult to understand.

Part A - This covers hospital bills.
Part B - Covers your outpatient doctors and specialist visits.
Part C - Just another name for Medicare Advantage.
Part D - This is prescription coverage.

Medicare becomes confusing when considering all the different situations people have whether it's someone with an employer plan, a person also on Medicaid, or someone working past 65.

This is where I help.

I'm Nick Bryant, a Medicare Insurance agent, and I can help you sort through all your options to pick the best plan for your situation.

If you need help, contact me at 281.870.3599 and I can answer any questions you might have regarding Medicare.

Medicare benefits counseling is free and there is no obligation on your part.

I've worked in community health for the past 13+ years, and I'm the author of the book "Understanding Healthcare Is Half The Battle" so navigating systems like Medicare has become second nature to me.
