Everyone is at risk from flu - even healthy children and adults. While it's riskier for some people, ANYONE can get seriously ill.

COVID and flu are caused by two different viruses, and both can cause you to become seriously sick, hospitalized, or even die.

Do you know the symptoms of flu? Flu usually comes on fast and causes fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, and achiness. It may look like COVID, so if you feel sick it’s important to get tested for BOTH diseases!

The Tennessee Kidney Foundation (TKF) is hosting a free kidney health screening event on Saturday, December 17 at our office from 10:00am-12:00pm, and this event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about their kidney health. The screening includes:

Blood pressure
Height and weight
Urinalysis (detecting protein in urine)
One-on-one conversation with a volunteer physician and/or nurse practitioner

Pizza will be provided for participants and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer (no medical experience necessary!), the link to sign up is below. As incentive to volunteer, the first 10 people to sign up will receive a self-care stocking. We hope to see you there!
