As many of you know, I will be stepping away from Ybor City Chiropractic after this week. Next Monday, Dr. Randy Matulka will be the new owner of Ybor City Chiropractic.

I bought this practice from Dr. Erce Phillips in 2018 (who started YCC) and have had the pleasure to serve the Ybor City community for the past six years. I have seen a significant amount changes in our community in those six years and know that it will only continue to improve with GasWorx on the rise.

It’s been an incredible journey with many highs and many lows, but I would not trade it for anything. I can’t thank this amazing community enough for taking me in and allowing me to be Ybor City’s chiropractor for these years.

I want to thank my team for all of the years of help, especially Zira (our front desk associate), Catherine (our insurance biller), and Collin (who gives the best sports massages). I could not have done it without these amazing people supporting us.

Even though I will be moving on from YCC, the Lambert family is working on a new business venture which will be starting very soon.

Again thank you to all for the past six years. It has been an incredible ride. I will miss you all.

We will be closed next Thursday in remembrance of July 4th. Dr. Lambert will be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Dr. Randy and Collin will be in the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week.

Did you know we see pregnant patients daily??

All chiropractors are trained to work with women who are pregnant. Investing in the fertility and pregnancy wellness of women who are pregnant or trying to conceive is routine care for most chiropractors. There are no known contraindications to chiropractic care throughout pregnancy.

During pregnancy, there are several physiological and endocrinological changes that occur in preparation for creating the environment for the developing baby.
The following changes can result in a misaligned spine or:
Protruding abdomen and increased back curve
Pelvic changes
Postural adaptations

Establishing pelvic balance and alignment is another reason to obtain chiropractic care during pregnancy.

When the pelvis is misaligned it may reduce the amount of room available for the developing baby. This restriction is called intrauterine constraint.

A misaligned pelvis may also make it difficult for the baby to get into the best possible position for delivery.
