Our Story
Jeffrey Yager, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and pioneering cosmetic specialist who is the founder of YAGER ESTHETICS | ESTÉTICA™ in the Washington Heights neighborhood in New York City. Dr. Yager’s practice is a center of excellence in cosmetic plastic surgery that focuses on the Latino community. Dr. Yager provides an exceptional level of personal service, whereby he sees every patient for plastic surgery consultations himself, unlike many other practices.
Dr. Yager began his distinguished career attending medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, and following graduation, he completed his residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He was one of only 10 graduates to earn a combined residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is also a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
During his time at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Yager was named chief resident in plastic surgery before making the move into private practice. He has a passion for helping both women and men achieve the figure they always wanted. He strives to improve surgical techniques and outcomes for all cosmetic surgery patients through his research, for which he’s received recognition from both the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Yager is a member of the American Society for Plastic Surgery, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and the National Medical Honor Society. As one of the foremost experts in cosmetic surgery in the United States, he unfailingly delivers the best of care and optimal outcomes to all his patients.
