We answer women's questions about any exposure (teratogen) that they are concerned may affect the health and/or development of their baby. Teratogens can be anything such as medications (prescribed or over-the-counter), drugs, alcohol, ci******es, infections or vaccines. Concerned individ

uals, or their healthcare providers, can call our toll-free helpline to receive information and counseling from trained genetic counselors and teratogen information specialists at UTHealth.
